Nokia Philippines and Smart Communications have partnered to bring the Nokia N9 here in Philippines. Through Smart’s exclusive postpaid plans, you will be able to get the first (probably the last) MeeGo smatphone by Nokia, the Nokia N9.

The Nokia N9 features a vibrant 3.9″ curved Gorilla Glass touchscreen that is constructed and fitted in a polycarbonate unibody shell. The front also features a buttonless integration that leverage the Swipe experience made for MeeGo. At the back there is Carl Zeiss wide-angle optics and 8MP sensor and being supported by the dual LED for flash and video light. The camera can record HD video with touch to focus feature. There are still no info regarding the unlocked or prepaid version of Nokia N9 here in Philippines. But I have a feeling that this Smart exclusive contract for Nokia N9 is limited, so probably soon there will be a Nokia N9 on untied version.
