Samsung introduces their newest full touch and QWERTY devices packing the Dual SIM feature on each. The front lined model for their DUOS brand will be the Galaxy Y Duos with full touch feature and the Galaxy Y Pro Duos with QWERTY keys, both will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be targeting emerging markets. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos

A full-touch Android smartphone sporting a 3.14″ TFT LCD screen and 3 MP camera in a 109.8 x 60 x 11.98mm & 109g body construction. The innards of the dual-sim phone includes 512MB internal storage with 2GB (expandable to 32GB) storage, 384MB RAM, and a 1, 300mAh battery. Connectivity wise, the Galaxy Y Duos include WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth v3, and 3G support.

Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos

The Galaxy Y Pro Duos is Samsung’s first QWERTY smartphone to have Dual SIM feature. Most of its specs are similar to its full-touch sibling, the Galaxy Y Duos. Only difference is the smaller screen and lack of touch support but gives way to a nifty QWERTY keyboard with optical trackpad and a larger battery capacity of 1350mAh.

Both Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Pro Duos will bring dedicated social media apps and messaging services integration from email to chatting to Google Maps and more right from your homescreen. Samsung Touchwiz is also added on their UI.

Availability and Prices of Galaxy Y Pro Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos

The DUOS from Samsung will be available in the market starting January 2012. The said included regions are Russia, Middle East, Southeast Asia (Philippines), Southwest Asia, China, Europe, Latin America and Africa. Meanwhile, the company didn’t disclosed any pricing to these devices but we expected that these will be at the range of $200 and below (or about Php 8000 in Philippines).
