I bet Asus fans always get a sweet treatment from the company especially on the promised upgrades and updates for both hardware and software side on their products. And after all they just proved it again through spilling out a good news for all their Transformer Prime users around the world.
The said Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.0 ICS update that Google recently released will be coming to all Transformer Prime by January 12, and that’s a week from now. ICS brings upgraded experience through the revamped UI and new features, and also the full glory of a software platform that is always open.
Speaking of one new features in that ICS update, Prime users will now be able to unlock the Tegra 3 bootloader and thus making it possible for you to install custom ROMs just like the CyanogenMod. But this is kind of risky as it will void your gadget warranty. In the end, it will still be your choice depending on your needs.
