The very first Ultrabook on the ThinkPad series has been finally unveiled by Lenovo in the form of ThinkPad T430u. It got the same looks & feel with its ThinkPad siblings yet thinner, lighter, and powerful. Find out how below.

All the said improvements are much brought by the new processor the T430u has. Thanks to the upcoming Ivy Bridge processor which gives a promise performance increased graphically and numerically in handling demanding tasks and other workloads. But if it’s not enough, Lenovo has an option for you through a Nvidia graphics. Display is 14″ with undisclosed resolution, keyboard is the same to ThinkPad family with a red pointing nub on the center, winner classic signature design. Overall construction is made from aluminum and a soft matte color finish, the dimensions is measured at 0.8″ thickness and it weighs less 4lbs. Only other confirmed innards is a 1TB HDD, first for an Ultrabook, and up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM configuration.
Lenovo plans to release the ThinkPad T430u in the market by Q3 this year, that’s from July to September period and this due to the Ivy Bridge processor that is incorporated on the device.
