The South Korean giant, LG, announces a new and more-of-an-upgrade tablet for its LG Optimus Pad – the Optimus Pad LTE.
Taking note from the name, the Optimus Pad LTE brings 4G into the tablet that its predecessor lacks and wide lists of other improvements to its hardware. The Optimus Pad LTE is sleek with its 8.9-inch IPS Display and measures 9.34mm thickness at 497g only. It now sports a faster processor of 1.5GHz dual core and it runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb that will eventually be upgraded to ICS later on. There is no more 3D camera on the new tab but it got an 8MP camera instead of 5MP 3D camera and a 2MP front facing.

So far there are no details regarding the availability and prices for other regions, and for now the tablet is available in Korea.
