After 6 Years…

Entry to Nokia Maps Blog competition ‘Talk Love And Win Nokia Maps’.

I don’t know how to start this one but will give you a brief intro first about on the ‘teen’ love story of my life and how did I Nokia maps helped me realized that my girlfriend is really the one for me.

My love story was started everything back when we were in high school when I and my first girlfriend met. Meeting new girls in that age is not usual but meeting a girl for the first time that made me felt unexplainable feeling is unique. That was the first sign that she was indeed a special one for me.

I courted her for 3 months after I knew here and she gave me the sweetest yes after that span of time. I will never forget the date because it was the day of hearts, February 14th, a very special day for both of us. Unfortunately, we ended our relationship after three months due to many factors as I recall and being young on a relationship was one. After that time we never had communication anymore despite we go to the same school and we live just few minutes ride from each other home. Much worse is when I went to college first because I’m one year ahead of her.

I stayed single for the rest of this time although I tried to move on and find for someone that I thought who could fill up the empty part of me. But I failed and failed, because it was just impossible to replace her.

After 6 years, that week which I thought was just an ordinary one for me. I met her in the bus stop on where I always wait for transport going to school. We just gave a quick glimpsed with each other and I knew there was still something else. That a sign, I said in my mind because that time I always thought of her and later all was been cleared that she’s still the one for me after I met her in the mall on where I always checked in with foursquare. I saw her sitting on the bench as she waits for someone. My friend called her because they knew each other too and she smiled back to us and I smiled back to her also. After that day, she contacted me again and from there my happy love story continued which I thought was impossible because of the 6 years we’ve been parted. It was like I waited for 6 long years and never expecting that we will be together again but without losing the hope on it.

And I’m thankful on that the two special places for me because I met her again and helped me realized that everything was still about her and she is my happy ending after all.

My message to those who can relate to my story is that never give up and always look around the corner or find ways to make things happen.

Lastly, we will take summer vacation after I graduate next next month and of course the Nokia Maps on my Nokia N9 will be our guide..hmm. Boracay? Bantayan, Cebu? or Negros? Too many great places here in our country but surely all are pinned down to Nokia Maps.
