Nokia 808 PureView Is Official, Packs With Massive 41MP Camera Sensor – Specs, Philippines Price, Camera Samples Here

Fresh from Barcelona, Nokia unveiled their latest imaging flagship smartphone, the Nokia 808 PureView that brings a massive 41MP camera sensor. Yes, it’s not a typo that’s a real 41MP thing! So do you think this thing is real? Find out more after the break.

To give you the important bits, it has a 41-megapixel camera on Carl Zeiss optics which is a breakthrough in mobile world. The real key ingredient to this is the PureView technology which in short uses the oversampling to produce finer and less noise images even when you zoomed in several times. The Nokia 808 also is bundled with a Xenon flash just like Nokia N8′s camera for a better night shooting. Also, the camera of Nokia 808 is improved for low light shooting thanks to the bigger sensor and enhanced Xenon flash.

Other features include Dolby 5.1 audio support and a stereo CD-quality sound that is present on the Full HD video recording capabilities of Nokia 808. Display of the Nokia 808 measures 4-inch which is AMOLED and uses CBD covered by Gorilla Glass for scratch proofing.

Nokia 808 PureView runs on Nokia Belle feature pack 1 and innards are bit of upgrade from the previously announced Nokia Belle devices. The processor is clocked to 1.3GHz, with 512MB RAM and 16GB memory.
